LOCATION:
The farm is situated in a safe area, approximately 49 km North-East of Harrismith and 55 km from Verkykerskop, in a high rainfall area. With only one access route to the farm, security is easily manageable .
NATURAL GRAZING:
The topography is typical Free State rolling grassy plains as well as mountainous sections with plateau pastures. The natural grazing mainly consists of mixed sweet and sour vegetation with ample palatable pastures.
The pasture consists of mixed sweet and sour field grass as well as parts of marsh pasture. The farm has mountain sections to the north with flowing hills and ravine with sloping sections. Located at an altitude of about 1,800 to 2,000 meters above sea level.
The carrying capacity for the veld in this area is estimate at 4 ha/LSU. The pasture is well balanced in terms of summer and winter pastures. The pasture is clean, with no invasive plants and is in good condition with no signs of overgrazing. The farm is divided into 18 camps with access to water.
WATER:
A water-rich farm with multiple streams flowing through the farm, 15 Earth dams, fountains as well as boreholes equipped with windmills. One cement dam, one zinc dam and one Jo-Jo tank.
ARABLE LAND:
217 ha Old lands on a plateau that can be re-cultivated.
INFRASTRUCTURE:
Old Sandstone dwelling uninhabited for many years.
